It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have all the travel documents necessary to enter in, or transit through, each country on your itinerary. Please ensure you verify the requirements for each country as the required documents for the outbound portion of your travel may differ from those required on the return.

Need a Letter of Invitation for your VISA Application?
We are happy to provide Letters of Invitation to registered attendees, you must be pre-registered (paid) to attend the CNS 2026 Annual Meeting at time of application. At a minimum you would be required to be a current paid member of the CNS society in order to receive a letter of invite. To become a member or to renew your membership you can log into your CNS account or create an account before filling out the form below. Be advised Visa letters may take 7-10 days to process; please plan accordingly. Please fill out the form here.
Additionally:
- You will need to provide us with your travel visa application number after you have submitted your travel visa. This number will then be given to the Canadian government by us (to hopefully) help speed up the visa process.
- You will need to be registered to attend the CNS 2026 Annual Meeting before you arrive into Canada, the Canadian government requires us to provide them with a list of registered attendees. If you are not registered by the time you arrive, you will run into issues with board patrol.
Disclosure: Participant information may be shared with Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC). Information collected in part may be used to identify and coordinate the processing of visa applications, within the confines of the Privacy Act and at the discretion of the Special Events Unit.

IRCC is sharing the following important information for international invitees seeking entry into Canada to attend CNS 2026 Annual Meeting.
*Should you have any questions regarding your visa application, you should contact the consulate office responsible for processing your visa application (for overseas inquiries), or the Client Support Centre (for in-Canada inquiries).
As of February 29, 2024, at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time, Mexican citizens traveling to Canada will need to meet new requirements to travel to Canada.
Mexican citizens who hold a valid US non-immigrant visa or have held a Canadian visa in the past 10 years and are travelling by air on a Mexican passport will be able to apply for a new electronic travel authorization (eTA). With the high number of Mexican citizens currently holding US visas, the majority will continue to enjoy visa-free travel to Canada. Those who do not meet these conditions will need to apply for a Canadian visitor visa.
