CNS 2016: Advances for Brain Science and Society

Press registration is now open for the Cognitive Neuroscience Society annual conference, April 2-5, 2016, in New York City, at the New York Hilton Midtown. Get great story ideas and connect with more than 1,500 neuroscientists. See the latest cognitive neuroscience research in aging, memory, language, attention, and learning.
Highlights will include:
- Keynote address by Elizabeth Phelps (NYU) – open to the public – on race and the brain, including ways neuroscience may inform interventions to prevent racial bias in decision-making
- Award talks by Brian Wandell (Stanford) on visual science and imaging, Jim Haxby (Dartmouth) on computational models for cognition, Adriana Galvan (UCLA) on adolescent brain development and decision-making, and Joel Voss (Northwestern University) on enhancing episodic memory networks using noninvasive brain stimulation
- Symposia on computational psychiatry, long-term memory retrieval, and the life-long consequences of early-life adversity
- More than 1,000 posters and 50 talks covering the latest research on memory training, intracranial electrical recordings, visual perception, and more
