Boston Logain Aiport by Train
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Blue Line serves the Logan Airport station. MBTA subway trains run from approximately 5:30 am to around 12.30 am with services every 5-13 minutes.
You can change to/from the Orange Line at State Street station, and to/from the Green Line at Government Center station.
The train fare is $1.70 for the pre-bought MBTA CharlieCard, or $2 if bought on-board.
From the airport station take the free shuttle bus to the terminals. Service 22 is for terminals A and B, service 33 serves Terminals C and E. Download Boston T subway map (pdf file)
Boston Logan Airport by Taxis
Taxis are available outside each terminal building. Journey time to/from downtown Boston is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Fare to downtown locations from the airport, eg hotels is $25-$50.
Boston Logan Airport by Water Taxi
Boston Logan has several Water Shuttle and Water Taxi options.
The MBTA Harbor Express operates between Logan Airport and Long Wharf in downtown Boston. The fare is $3 from July 1, 2012. Call (617) 222-6999 for information or visit the MBTA website.
Rowes Wharf Water Transport operates between Rowes Wharf and the Logan Boat Dock. Services run from 7 am to 7 pm. Fare: $10 one way, $17 round trip. Details: (617) 406-8584, or online.
