Congratulation to Dr. Michael Gazzaniga!

The Cognitive Neuroscience Society would like to congratulate Dr. Michael Gazzaniga on his recent election into the National Academy of Sciences to honor his scientific achievements in the study of mind and brain. Election to the NAS is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a U.S. scientist or engineer.  Michael Gazzaniga, a founder and leader of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, was among 72 new members from the U.S., and 18 foreign associates from 15 countries, who were elected to the Academy in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
