![]() Anjali Bhatara, Vice Chair I became interested in cognitive neuroscience during my undergraduate training at Stanford University in Human Biology. During this time, I worked on a project examining children's brain activations during tasks involving spatial and verbal working memory. I then entered the Coterminal degree program at Stanford and obtained a masters in Psychology. My project during this time was a functional brain imaging study comparing music to language procesing. Currently, I am pursuing my doctorate in Dr. Daniel Levitin's laboratory at Mc Gill University, and my research is focusing on autism and musical perception, with a focus on emotion in music.Mc Gill University Psychology: Ph.D. Candidate |
